In the Event of Moon Disaster

A playful, fictionalised rendering of the U.S.A.’s 1969 moon landing – In the Event of Moon Disaster follows a small team of NASA employees, amateur filmmakers and a backup team of astronauts, as they attempt to successfully complete one of the biggest conspiracies in history. Fake the Moon landing. Amidst a series of wardrobe malfunctions, ego stroking, and interpersonal arguments, it becomes increasingly obvious that this largely incompetent group of people may simply not be able to pull it off.

In the Event of Moon Disaster was created as a Shopfront Arts Co-op Member’s Show production in 2022 devised by Vaguely Adjacent members prior to formation of the collective.
