Vaguely Adjacent is a genre-blending performance collective.

Conspiracy theories, fringe groups and hidden agendas. Performance collective Vaguely Adjacent create theatre works that are both wildly absurd and sincerely curious; inviting their audience to share in the demystification of collaborative mythos, as well as an indulgence in the fantastical, the unknown, the niche and the weird.

Taking on a collaborative and responsive ethos to theatre-making, Vaguely Adjacent make use of real-life source material, often co-opting the language and medium of fanaticism in order to scrutinise the impact storytelling has on the real world.
By grounding their work in the public sphere, Vaguely Adjacent ask the question of what it means to engage in these collective fictions, and what are the constructive, or destructive, implications of keeping these stories alive?
